Emerge, Addiction Recovery Program (ARP)

Service Description

A 90-day supportive recovery program for individuals 19 years of age and over, self-identifying as men; 22 beds (18 single rooms, and two double rooms). Offers a holistic, client-centered program based on acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) in a safe, supportive and structured environment. Focus is on life skills training, self-knowledge, and understanding of addiction as it pertains to each individual. Services offered include one-to-one and group work, with optional programs available such as yoga, acupuncture, massage therapy, emotional regulation, and SMART. Accepts substitution therapies (including methadone and suboxone). Accepts referrals from self or other; men must be detoxed prior to entering the program. Fees are $45 per day; subsidies may be available through Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH). Wheelchair accessible. Intake is through the Central Addictions Intake Team (CAIT). Funded as Stabilization and Transitional Living Residence (STLR) by Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH).
