Service Description

Digital Connect Program assists visible minority newcomer women 19 years old and older, to enter the employment industry in Canada. Offers 9 weeks of virtual digital literacy and employment training sessions, two weeks of a work placement (unpaid), and one-to-one job search support. Services include group based workshops, career assessments, and personal development. Participants must either be a permanent resident, refugee claimant, or have an open work permit. Other eligibility requirements include an ability to read, write, and understand basic english, and have some experience with basic computer use. Offered in partnership with UMOJA. Funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
