Service Description

YWCA Tech Connect is a free 10-week programs that supports newcomer self-identified women with experience in IT to secure rewarding careers in the technology industry; includes help navigating Canadian workplace culture, workshops, access to mentorship, networking events, and guest speakers, follow-up support, access to YWCA services, and financial assistance for transit and child care. YWCA Employment Navigator assists single mothers in Metro Vancouver or the Fraser Valley to access resources and education during the pre-employment and employment stages, empowering them with the tools to overcome barriers and achieve financial independence; includes one-to-one, personalized support; delivery is online and in-person (by appointment). The Employment Navigator Pre-Employment Service (ENPS) assists single mothers who want to improve their employment readiness. Eligibility criteria apply for all programs; see website for details.
