Employment Services

In partnership with YWCA, offers an Employment Services Centre catering specifically to immigrants. Services include access to computer, internet, phone/fax, voice mail, and photocopy services; BC labour market information; career assessment tools; a career and education library; one-to-one employment counselling, case management, and access to training funds; and workshops on topics such as job search, career exploration, resume writing, interview skills and networking, and salary negotiation. Through the Employment Mentoring Program, skilled immigrants connect with locally employed professionals from a variety of fields. All services are free. Office hours are 9 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
