Service Description

Supports the social and economic integration of newcomers who are not eligible to receive services from federally-funded programs. Program serves refugee claimants, temporary foreign workers, post-secondary international students who are eligible to work in Canada, provincial nominees who are not yet permanent residents, and recently naturalized citizens. Offers workshops, one-on-one orientation, information and referral, and mentorship. Pre-employment services include: job market information, resume and cover letter writing, education on workplace rights and responsibilities, work safety, and workplace culture. Funded by the Province of BC.
