English as a Second Language (ESL)

Offered at select post-secondary institutions across BC for individuals whose first language is not English to develop communication skills and socio-cultural and workplace knowledge to achieve further academic programs or career training. Also provides individuals with the skills to meet English language requirements to qualify for work, improve their employment prospects, and participate in communities and society. Some students may be eligible for funding through the Adult Education Upgrading Grant.
