Service Description

Offers group counselling and workshops for immigrant, refugee, and visible minority couples who are at risk of experiencing or perpetrating domestic violence. Couples, where one partner is a Canadian citizen, may also be admitted. Focuses on improving and building stronger family relationships and creating a motivation for change within couples by providing intimate partners with the knowledge and skills to significantly reduce the chances of domestic violence in the future. Each program cycle consists of one intake followed by six sessions, 60 to 90 minutes in duration; two workshops per month are also available. Interpretation available upon request. Funded by Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General (MPSSG).
