Essential Skills for Aboriginal Futures (ESAF)

Service Description

Provides skills assessment, upgrading, and development for unemployed members of the urban indigenous population, and partners with employers to transition clients into employment. Training program lasts six weeks; follow-up job-coaching program lasts 12 weeks. Programs are ongoing and provide opportunities across a number of industries. Referrals through ACCESS Employment Assistance offices; clients do not need to be in receipt of EI or have a previous EI claim. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
