Extreme Weather Preparedness for Agriculture

Service Description

Offers funding to eligible BC agriculture and food sector businesses to help them strengthen their resilience to wildfires, flooding, and extreme heat, as well as mitigate future climate impacts. Applicants can access up to $35,000 in cost-shared funding per project. Projects may deal with farming, ranching, food producing, beekeeping, aquaculture, or federally licensed cannabis and hemp producers. Applications will be accepted January 23, 2024, on an ongoing basis until funds are fully committed; funding will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis for all eligible completed applications.
