Families Branching Out (CAPC Program)

Offers social and educational programs for parents, grandparents, and caregivers of families with children (from birth to age six) who would benefit from extra support. Children and parents make new friends, learn positive ways to support each other, and share resources, parenting skills, and child-minding. Holds a weekly drop-in dinner for families on Monday evenings; parents have the opportunity to cook together while their children engage in supervised recreational activities. Other activities include informal planning meetings, workshops and guest speakers, arts and crafts activities, and special events.
