Service Description

Boundaries Program provides therapy and education to children age 12 and under who are exhibiting sexualized behaviour. Services include planning and behaviour management education for families and caregivers. Connect Parent Program is for parents of children and youth ages eight to 18 dealing with attachment issues. Helps parents recognize distress and anxiety in pre-adolescents and respond appropriately. Foundations Program (Foster Families Support) provides in-home consultation and education to support caregivers with children and youth ages five to 18 who are experiencing serious emotional and/or behavioural problems. Serves residents of Vancouver and Richmond. Resilient Kids provides group counselling and education to children with a parent who has a significant mental illness and has established psychiatric support. Group runs eight times a year and includes coping, communication, and social skills; also provides recreational and relaxation activities, and peer support. Youth Concurrent Disorders provides counselling treatment to children and youth ages five to 18 dealing with mental health and addiction issues; service offered to youth for the issue they are willing to approach (could be both or either). Referrals are required. Office hours are 8:30 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday.
