Family Care Support Program

Offers short-term support services for foster families of children with complex needs. Each foster home is paired with a family counsellor who assesses the individual strengths and needs of the placement and provides support through counselling and education. Additional supports include foster parent support and education groups, socialization and educational support programs for children, and child care counsellors. Referrals through MCFD resource teams in South Fraser and Simon Fraser. Serves Coquitlam, Delta, Langley, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, and Surrey.
