Family Group Conferencing

Provides services for families involved with Ministry of Child and Family Development (MCFD) child welfare. Family group conferencing provides a culturally safe meeting of family, children, and those who "feel like family" who come together to develop a plan for safe care of children. A social worker will approve the plan if it meets the child's need for safety. Referral required from an MCFD social worker. Serves the North Thompson Valley. Funded by Ministry of Child and Family Development (MCFD).
