Offers drop-in opportunities for parents. The LoLo Family Playgroup Drop-in offers two drop-in from 9:30 am to 11:30 am and 12:30 pm to 2 pm Mondays and Wednesdays for parents and their children from birth to age six. Parent-Child Mother Goose encourages bonding and language development through rhyme and song for parents and their children up to 24 months of age. Parent Community Developer's Playgroup Drop-In offers a drop-in playgroup 12:30 pm to 2 pm Mondays for care givers and their children age six and under. Circle of Care Drop-In offers a drop-in program for caregivers from 9:30 am to 11:30 am Tuesdays. Story Time with the City Librarian for stories and songs for children up to age five; meets 10 am to 10:30 am Thursdays for children from birth to age two, and 10:30 am to 11 am for children age two to five. Daddy and Me Drop-In offers fathers an opportunity to connect with other fathers, share a meal, crafts, stories, and music with their children up to age five; meets 6:15 pm to 7:45 pm Fridays. Pacific Post-partum Group, a support group for mothers meets 12:15 pm to 2:15 pm Fridays; childminding is provided and registration is required (call 604-255-7999 for details). Vancouver Coastal Health Parent and Infant Drop-In offers a public health nurse from 1 pm to 3 pm Thursdays to assist with child care during the first year, including breastfeeding.
