Service Description
An in-home parenting outreach service for families with children up to age 13 that enhances existing family strengths through support and education. Outreach workers provide guidance to help parents improve parenting skills in developmental stages, setting limits, developing routines, building self-esteem, and understanding anger. Other areas of guidance include techniques for organizing, budgeting, meal planning, and nutrition. Referrals are through Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD). Funded by MCFD.
