Family Support Services - Clearwater

Offers a wide range of support services to families with children and youth. Services include parenting support and skills development, parent-teen mediation, supervised visit services, and services to parents of children or youth with diverse abilities. Provides life skills training to youth including youth with diverse abilities, and transition services to youth in care approaching age 19. Referrals are through Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD), community professionals, or self referrals by parents and youth; MCFD referrals take priority. Serves Clearwater, Birch Island, Vavenby, Avola, Blackpool, and Little Fort. Office hours are 8:30 am 12 noon and 1 pm to 4:40 pm Monday to Friday.
