First Responders Support Group

Offers a weekly support group for first responders who may struggle with mental and emotional difficulties that are unique to their occupation. This includes support for working through high-risk situations and traumatic events, and may also include discussions about dealing with the misuse of drugs and alcohol. Participants in this group are encouraged to outline their current status, provide a brief self-evaluation of the quality of their life, and request group feedback if they need help in dealing with a problem. Group runs from 3 pm to 4:30 pm on Wednesdays; call or email for registration.
