First United Help Desk and Tax Program

Provides crisis intervention, housing referrals, tax filing for low-income individuals, families, and seniors, and community programs for residents of Vancouver's Downtown Eastside (DTES). Provides phone, fax, and photocopying services. Those living in the DTES can also use 320 East Hastings Street as their mailing address and they can pick it up at 501 East Hastings. Supplies free items to low-income people, including clothing, harm reduction supplies, and toiletries. Help desk hours are 8 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 4 pm Monday to Friday.
