Florence Pierce House

Provides six beds of safe, secure, temporary transitional housing and support for women ages 55 and up who are escaping violence. Staffed 24 hours per day. Length of stay is 30 days no cost, and up to six months program participation at $375/month. Low-barrier house; will not refuse shelter based on substance use or mental/spiritual unwellness. Personal identification (ID) is not required. Services include accompaniment, activity groups, advocacy, community kitchen, emotional support, group support for women, and information and referral. Not wheelchair accessible. Pets are not allowed. House is located in Vancouver.
