Secure, 190-bed facility serves individuals who have come into contact with the legal system and were found not criminally responsible for a crime or unfit to stand trial due to a mental disorder. Also provides care for people who have been transferred temporarily from correctional centres to be assessed or treated under BC's Mental Health Act. A referral is required from BC provincial courts or community corrections staff. Office hours are 8 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday.
