Fraser Health Virtual Psychiatry Unit

Provides hospital-level psychiatric care to eligible individuals in their own home. Intake is required in person at a Fraser Health hospital. Patients have access to 24-hour support and monitoring, medication, regular psychiatry assessments, and collaborative planning with their care team, just as they would in a regular hospital. Any necessary equipment is provided to patients, and vital signs are monitored remotely. Staff maintain connection through video chat, phone calls, and instant messaging.
