Fuel Tax Refund for Persons with Disabilities

Service Description

Allows individuals with a qualifying disability to request a refund (up to $500 each calendar year) of the provincial motor fuel tax. Eligible individuals must be 16 years or older; be the registered owner or lessee of a vehicle or have an ownership interest in a vehicle registered to someone else; and have at least one qualifying disability. To register, individuals must have copies of identification, vehicle registration, power of attorney or representative agreement (if someone else is applying on their behalf), and documentation to confirm disability.
