A free, interactive healthy lifestyle program for families in BC with children ages eight to 12. Participants learn how to build healthy habits together as a family engaging in various activities. Topics covered include healthy eating and healthy body image, physical activity, screen time, sleep hygiene, self-confidence, and goal setting. A 10-week program offered once a week for two hours in person or by Zoom at Y facilities in Coquitlam and Surrey. A three-month family YMCA membership is offered after program completion. Delivered in partnership with Childhood Healthy Living Foundation, Ministry of Health, and University of Victoria.
