Get Youth Working!

Helps unemployed youth age 18 to 24 gain work experience by providing employers with a wage subsidy while the employee is being trained; youth must meet certain eligibility criteria. Helps BC youth improve existing skills and gain new ones through practical experience and training. Services include employment counselling, job entry skills, certificate training, paid work experience, mentoring, and post-job placement support. Office hours are 8 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Funded by Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills.
