Service Description

Offers financial assistance and support for individuals who are eligible for recredentialing or alternative career training. Services include information about recredentialing for a specific occupation; career opportunities (within a field or alternative career), as well as access to a low-interest loan for credential recognition process and/or alternative career or training activities. Also provides job search workshops and individualized sessions, follow-up job search support, and connections to other bridging programs, resources, employers, and mentors. Eligibility requirements include being a Permanent Resident, Canadian citizen, or persons granted refugee status in Canada and legally entitled to work in Canada; having obtained credentials outside of Canada; and seeking to have foreign credentials recognized and/or interested in an alternative career and training activities. Serves BC. Funded in part by the Government of Canada's Foreign Credential Recognition Program.
