Service Description

Offers seniors multiple levels of care and the ability to age in place. Provides 60 long-term care suites and four 10-bedroom dementia care cottages for residents that typically require 24-hour professional care for complex and medical conditions including dementia. Also provides 35 assisted living suites for seniors who are independent but may require assistance with day-to-day activities such as medications, bathing, or life skills. Housing is for people who are able to make the range of decisions that allow them to live safely in a supportive, semi-independent environment. The assisted living program offers an emergency response service. Housing program is registered with the Assisted Living Registry, Ministry of Health. Admission is through Interior Health Authority (IHA). Partially funded by BC Housing, and IHA. Also offers a day program for up to 15 adults daily; programming includes a hot meal, caregiver respite, personal care assistance, social/recreational activities, and health promotion and monitoring.
