Service Description
Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) delegated Aboriginal agency that supports the well-being of Aboriginal children, youth, and families, especially those who are vulnerable. Provides services family support, guardianship, foster care, children and youth with support needs, and child and youth mental health. Guardianship services prepares youth that are transitioning into adulthood. Post-majority services provide support and assistance for young adults between the ages 19 to 27. Serves members of the Carrier and Sekani Nations residing in urban and rural areas of north-central BC. Offices are located in Burns Lake, Prince George, and Vanderhoof. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
