Harbour Light Detox Program

Medically monitored detoxification unit, located in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside, for individuals 19 years and older who are experiencing acute withdrawal from substances. Provides eight-hour nursing care and a daily attending physician in order to ensure a safe, supportive environment. Accepts clients on methadone maintenance who are withdrawing from other drugs. Bed capacity is 23 men and six women. Offers referrals to follow-up addiction treatment.
