Harmony House Assisted Living

Provides semi-independent housing, primarily for Chinese-speaking individuals who require assistance with day-to-day activities such as medications, bathing, or life skills. Housing is intended for people who are able to make the range of decisions that allow them to live safely in a supportive, semi-independent environment. Staffed 24 hours a day. Includes 19 studio suites and 14 one-bedroom suites. Wheelchair accessible. Apply through the Home Health intake office. Residents pay 70% of after-tax income; those on income assistance pay a flat rate. Primarily serves Chinese residents, but individuals of other ethnicities are also welcome; services are offered in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. Funded by Vancouver Coastal Health.
