Headstart Boys Program

Service Description

Six-month alternative-to-custody residential program for up to five male youth, ages 14 to 18, who are on probation. Youth reside with contracted caregiver families in Campbell River who provide ongoing support and supervision. During weekdays, youth participate in the Headstart day program, focusing on academics, employment readiness, communication, self-awareness, healthy relationships, recreational activities, independent living (as appropriate), and other life skills. Referral required by probation officer; continuous intake. Serves BC.
