Healthy Heart Program

Offers a medically supervised program to help clients with cardiac issues manage their health through weight management, smoking cessation, stress reduction and exercise; fees may apply for optional workshops. Services include heart health screening, counselling, and education to support cardiac risk reduction and rehabilitation. Cardiac Education provides adults 19 and older with lifestyle management education after an acute cardiac episode; group education sessions are offered in English and Punjabi. Also offers Cardiac Rehabilitation that provides rehabilitation exercises that support lifestyle management; fees charged for some ongoing exercise programs. Wheelchair accessible. Physician referral required. Program hours vary.
