Hub Food Programs

Service Description

Provides groceries by donation for the general public from 11 am to 12 noon on Tuesdays; also accepts food donations. A Community Dinner (by donation) is held at 4:30 pm every second Saturday of the month; doors open at 4 pm when they give out free clothing for adults. A Community Garden is available for the general community as well as used for internal programs. Offers a Farmer's Market Nutrition Coupon Program for low-income families and seniors, in partnership with Surrey Urban Farmer's Market; market hours are 12 noon to 5 pm Wednesdays from the second week of June to the first week of October. A Seniors Luncheon is served at 12 noon every second and fourth Monday, and a Seniors Drop-in Tea is held from 1 pm to 2:30 pm the third Thursday of each month. There is also a Seniors Community Kitchen program held from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm every first and third Monday. Also runs the Multi-Cultural Community Kitchen program from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm every second and fourth Thursday. Office hours are 9:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
