I Hope Family Centre

Family resource centre at two locations for parents, caregivers, and children from birth to age six. Provides a clothing exchange, parent education, and learning opportunities for children. The core drop-in program, Learning Together Through Play, is a play-based early childhood development program that includes free play, circle and snack time. Also offers Parent-Child Mother Goose, Family FUNdamentals, and a Breastfeeding and Post Partum Support Group. The Takaya Family Centre offers free programs for Tsleil Waututh and other First Nations families with children from birth to age six; open 11 am to 3:30 pm Tuesdays, services include song and story time with lunch, and adult activities with childminding in the afternoon.
