ICBC Language Services

Provides free, over-the-phone interpretation services in 170 languages regarding claims, insurance, and driver licensing needs. For claims enquiries, interpretation service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week; for insurance and driver licensing enquiries, interpretation service is available 8 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday, and 9 am to 5 pm Saturdays. Also offers Chinese and Punjabi language lines; for claims enquiries, hours are 9 am to 8 pm, seven days a week, and for insurance and driver licensing enquiries, hours are 8 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday, and 9 am to 5 pm Saturdays. At select driver licensing offices, clients can connect by phone with interpreter services to enable discussion with customer service representatives. The knowledge test for cars and motorcycles is available in 11 languages, and there are ICBC-approved translators if other languages are needed.
