Indigenous Health Program

Provides on-site services to improve the health of Indigenous women and girls, and their families. Indigenous patient navigators offer day-to-day advocacy support, development and implementation of culturally safe and appropriate health care services, and information and referrals to Indigenous communities and local Indigenous organizations. Covers advocacy services for BC Women's Hospital and Health Centre as well as for BC Children's Hospital, and Sunny Hill Health Centre for Children. Accepts self-referrals. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
