Infant Development Program (IDP) - Barriere

Service Description

Family-centred program for children from birth to age three who have or who are at risk of having a developmental delay. Supports parents to understand and respond to children's needs. Home-based services include home visits, screening, developmental assessment, activities to promote child development, infant massage, and referral to other community services. Also offers parent-child group programs and a toy and resource library. Open referral. Serves Barriere, Darfield, Louis Creek, and McLure. Office hours are 8:30 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 4:30 Monday to Thursday. Funded by Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD).
