Service Description

Trained volunteers provide information and referral to seniors age 55 and over regarding seniors income and other benefits (OAP, GIS, bus passes, SAFER), as well as assistance filling out forms. Also offers an income tax clinic from beginning of March until the end of April for low-income seniors or people on disability whose income is less than $35,000 per individual or $40,000 per couple. Year-round income tax services are provided for previous years, by appointment only. Also offers a variety of recreational workshops; see website for calendar of events. Drop in hours are 9 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday. Receives funding as a Navigation and Peer Support program by United Way BC (UWBC) Healthy Aging Program.
