It's Up to You Recovery - Vancouver

Second-stage recovery homes for 13 men who are dealing with an addiction. Men must be clean for 45 days prior to admittance. In-house services include 12-step meetings and individual counselling, and men are also required to attend 12-step groups and have a counsellor in the community. Men are encouraged to volunteer, work, and/or study part-time. Minimum stay is six weeks up to a maximum of six months. Accepts men from any first-stage house, although usually they are required to go to the first-stage house in Surrey for a period of assessment and orientation first. Referral accepted from self or other, including methadone maintenance clients wanting to deal with other addictions. Per diem rate is $30.90. Has two fully-funded beds for clients referred from Aboriginal mental health services. Office and intake hours are 9 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
