Jackson Lam Adult Day Centre

An adult day program for senior, including Chinese seniors, ages 60 and over, who may have complex physical and/or cognitive challenges or who are living with chronic illnesses. Accepts seniors requiring assistance with eating and/or with dementia, and who are not aggressive. Provides a range of health, social stimulation, and therapeutic recreational programs in a supportive, culturally inclusive group setting. Designed to prolong senior independence in the community. Services include health status monitoring, medication support and monitoring, therapeutic activities, health education, social interaction, and caregiver/family respite. Also provides referrals to outside agencies. Services are provided in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. Offered in partnership with Vancouver Coastal Health. Centre hours are 8:45 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday.
