Jessie's Legacy Eating Disorders Prevention Program

Provides eating disorders prevention education and resources to support youth, families, educators, and professionals in BC. Services and resources are primarily web-based. Also offers media watch, speakers bureau, online and telephone support, and psycho-educational groups. Leads the Provincial Eating Disorders Awareness Week (PEDAW) campaign, a province-wide effort to raise awareness around prevention and early intervention of eating disorders as well as media literacy, resiliency, building healthy body image and self-esteem. PEDAW is launched the first full week in February with various activities and events taking place throughout the year.
