Service Description

Volunteer mentoring program for vulnerable children and youth age six to 18 who deal with challenging issues in their homes, including family crises, justice system involvement, mental health difficulties, drug and alcohol addiction, and abuse. Children/youth are matched with adults who act as positive role models and help them build self-esteem through positive achievement. Encourages young people to participate in recreational activities while providing them with opportunities to experience success. Referral from parent/guardian, school counsellor, community worker, or social worker. Hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
