Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) - Vancouver

Provides free English classes for adult newcomers (ages 17 and up) to Canada who are permanent residents or refugees. Classes introduce students to Canadian culture and services in the community, as well as Canada's political system, laws, employment, and health care. Morning, afternoon,and evening part-time classes available. Registration required. Placement of new students is determined by testing administered by the Western ESL Services LINC Assessment and Referral Centre. Funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
