Service Description

Hosts the Law Students' Legal Advice Program (LSLAP) that helps clients solve their legal problems. Offers free legal advice on various legal issues such as immigration, criminal matters, residential tenancy through services such as assisting clients with writing letters, negotiating with other parties, and preparing clients to appear on their own behalf in court. Consultations are with law students from various levels of study and assisted by accredited members of the BC Bar. Operated by the University of British Columbia. Offered 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm bi-weekly Wednesdays from September to March.
