Leisure Access Program (LAP)

Service Description

Service for Vancouver residents whose limited income may prevent them from participating in basic recreation services; applicants must be receiving Ministry of Social Development and Poverty Reduction (MSDPR) financial assistance or have a family income that meets the low-income guidelines of Statistics Canada. Offers free admission to all public swimming pool and skating rinks, as well as use of skates. Also offers reduced rates for use of fitness centres, swim and skate lessons, racquet court admissions, and pitch and putt golf courses. The OneCard is issued for up to one year; processing may take up to two weeks. Application details are available on the website and at local community centres and pools.
