LGBTQ Alliance Program

Residential program that offers a safe and supported living environment for those in the LGBTQ community that self-identify as men. Strives to create an atmosphere that is open-minded, non-judgemental, diverse, and supportive of each resident; includes fostering communication, understanding, and positive relationships with straight allies. Program includes the 12-steps and traditions, group therapy, one-on-one counselling, cognitive behavioural therapy, accountability groups, and experience in community service within the program. Also includes weekly outings, street outreach, and alternative healing modalities (art and music therapy, acupuncture, and yoga). Residents have access to support staff, trained clinical counsellors, external professional therapy, and nightly 12-step meetings. Fee is $4500/30 days; program runs for 90 days. Office hours are 8 am to 4 pm Monday to Thursday, and 8 am to 12 noon on Fridays.
