Service Description

14-bed residential treatment facility for young men and women, ages 16 to 24, who are suffering from anorexia, bulimia, binge-eating, and other eating disorders or disordered relationships with food. Offers 24/7 care and support from a multi-disciplinary team of medical and mental health professionals; intensive 12-week program of structured therapy in a home-like setting. Services include individual, group, and family therapy; meal support and nutrition; medical and psychiatric treatment; and recreation, arts, and leisure activities. Uses evidence-based approaches and best practices. Referrals required through provincial or health auhority specialized in eating disorder program. Partnership between the Looking Glass Foundation and Provincial Health Services Authority.
