Magnolia House

Seven-bed, community-based mental health facility provides short-term psychiatric emergency and crisis intervention for individuals with psychiatric diagnosis. Mandate is to provide rapid, urgent, voluntary treatment, typically for up to 10 working days. Services provided in a home-like setting with the least disruption to a client's life, occupation, and natural support networks. Respite care also provided. Referrals accepted from physicians and mental health services 8:30 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday. During evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays, admissions are made through Lions Gate Hospital emergency department. Serves the North Shore/Coastal and Sea to Sky regions.
