Maida Duncan Women's and Family Drop-in and Resource Centre

Low-barrier center provides support to vulnerable women and their children. Run by volunteers who offer support in accessing community resources. Center provides access to essential needs such as shower and laundry facilities, free clothing, and snacks. Clients may participate in various workshops (haircare, bingo, sewing, arts and crafts, and others). Drop-in hours are 10 am to 8 pm Tuesdays, and 10 am to 4 pm Wednesday to Sunday. Hours are subject to change. Also operates as an extreme weather response overnight shelter between November 1st and April 15th when weather is extreme and a community alert is called.
