Mental Health and Substance Use Outpatient Services

Service Description

Provides short-term outpatient services to individuals who live with mental illness and/or substance use issues. Services include 72-hour response when indicated for short-term assessment, treatment, and crisis stabilization; psychiatric assessment; individual, group, and online therapy; and rehabilitation support. Offers psychotherapy/psychoeducational services for people with concurrent disorders (limited capacity). Also provides psychotherapy/psychoeducational services for clients with suicidal ideation, people bereaved by suicide, and concerned others, as well as community education about suicide. Referral required through the Access and Assessment Centre (AAC). Hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
