Mental Health Emergency Services - Mental Health Car

Provides intervention to individuals in Richmond (including Vancouver Airport) for mental health crisis/emergency situations, in response to calls from health care professionals, clients, family members, and the general public. Staffed by a mental health nurse and a specially trained RCMP officer. Services include mobile response for crisis assessment and resolution, accompaniment to local emergency departments, and referrals to mental health teams, health care professionals, or other agencies; hours are 10 am to 9:30 pm, seven days a week. A joint service between Vancouver Coastal Health and Richmond RCMP.
